That's how I've always understood that. Being in the model making game for a few years now I have see instances where a creator of a new model which was identical to another model maker's one get accused of plagiarism.

I always take a series of development screenshots when I create my models, and always suggest that this is a good way of proving that the model you create is indeed your own.
Right now there are only a handful of packs available for CT7 but more will be coming soon. You can find the packs currently available HERE.

When looking through the content packs, please make sure that it states for CrazyTalk 7. Content packs for CrazyTalk 6 can't be directly installed to CT7. To be able to use these older packs will require that you also have version 6 installed. Then you can use the Import feature of CT7 to bring in some of the older content from CT6.

You will find lots of invaluable information there on working with Props and Sprites.

For things like shafts you can simply draw them in a package like DrawPlus or Adobe Flash and import them into your custom library. Remember that any image can become a prop in CTA so if you don't wish to draw anything, just find a suitable object in a photo, remove the background and then add to CTA.

For animated effects like smoke, water and fire you can find many of these pre made in the packs below.

Animated Effects Vol.1

Animated Effects Vol.2

I tried to make one called DOcuments and it refused saying I was making a duplicate. So I clicked YES.
And it made another "User Document" Folder even though I typed in Documents. !!!!!!!!!!!!

Either way I copied the files into it within the false path of iClone 4 after discovering them and the Swan works. :P Saves me having to manually load them anyway. I dont know another way to have right click functionailty on a Swan.

Cant get the Chinese Crane to animate, Flat graphics dont do the job, so Swans wil have to do.

Armstrong.

More of a steep streamlet.; So I was after something that was glassy and bumped I could translucentize !!! and run across the pebbles AS IF it was water. GLassy clear water, no splashing. Ive never seen it before... But if I had the right prop, a prop that looked like rippling water but made of clear refractives I could make one myself.

Thank for the information anyway.

There is one dialog file that plays back normally and is thus out-of-sync. Fortunately, the project renders fine (as image sequence) and the result plays back at the regular speed.

It doesn't matter what shading setting I use: wire frame plays as slow as pixel shading. As I'm more or less done with this scene, it's not a big deal, unless other scenes with the same environment give the same problem.

The only change I made this morning was adding a donkey and some grass for it to eat, but I don't see how that could be a problem. (I know this will open avenues for some witticisms...) Removing said donkey and grass didn't resolve the issue.

The project is consistently slow in both 32-bit and 64-bit iClone and also for different settings of real-time texture size.

As I said, it's not a big deal right now, but I would like to understand why this occurs. Another project I tried tonight played back normally, so it is specific for this project.
Yes A$$ (Donkey) and Grass will usually cost you something. :D

It could be that you have too many external sources feeding into the project. Whenever I start using multiple locations and sources for music, textures, overlays, etc., This does happen. It isn't thing to worry about, as you've discovered that the rendered content does come out fine. It does make it hard to work in the project however.

External Drives, which I use quite a bit, feed somewhat slowly also when they all are trying to "Get through the Door" at the same time, so to speak. Most of them also sleep when not used, so additional lag is expected when I first run a dormant project that hasn't used it's external sources lately.

Try and lower your Project settings in the "Preference area" and see if that helps.

Try removing unnecessary audio or video until it's ready. You can also set all video sources to "Still" until it's rendered out. Then the video sources are not read into the project actively.

Luna

I didnt mention yesterday....

When using the Haze plane select the HDR effect. Turn the bloom scale off as far as you can. For some reason this smooths out rippling effect that you can sometimes get and totally smooooooths out the planes.
If this is left of globally sometimes in some scenarios the central oval causes an oddity in density and leaves what I can only explain as ripples especially on pan.

HDR kills this.

In the below image we see odd "Circles of refraction" upper right.

But oddly when we apply HDR with its settings effectively NOT to show any changes.... we get this beautiful smoothing effect.

Just in case you were contemplating using it and saw this yourself.

Armstrong.

The votes have been tallied, thanks for all the participation here. We are working on an awards ceremony. It is always a challenge to come up with a creative way to present the awards, but we do have a plan and we are all actively working on it. I can't promise when it will be finished, but we are working away and will keep you posted.

1) Camera 1 : 1 to 120
2) Camera 2 : 30 to 90
3) Camera 3 : 75 to 110

Why does C2 take 15 frames more than C3 where at both will film frames 75 to 90 together.
Or are you including insets of the same timelineas a layer?

Isnt the sequence therefore...

1)Camera1 : 1 to 29
2)Camera 2 : 30 to 74
3)Camera 3 : 75 to 110
4)Camera 1 : 111 to 120

Im not being funny, I was simply curious as to your calculations.
Personally I would add on x frames per second (as per fps used) to allow for crossfading if required at the cutting stages.
I understand and appreciate.

In your example, you are using different cameras sequentially, not simultaneously.

While asking for this feature I mentioned about a CHASE or a FIGHT Scene.

But let us take another example :

Think for a moment :

There is a BOMB BLAST and it affects a crowd or 5 people. We want to emphasize the impact on each of 5 persons by showing their individual close up shots.

Now we show the BLAST [ 100 Frames ] + Effect on the 1st person [50 Frames ]

1) Camera 1 == Blast and Impact 1 : 100 + 50 Frames == 150 frames continuous == 1 to 150
2) Camera 2 : Impact 2 : 50 frames == 51 to 150
2) Camera 3 : Impact 3 : 50 frames == 51 to 150
3) Camera 4 : Impact 4 : 50 frames == 51 to 150
So on.....

Then IMPACT SETTLING DOWN == 151 to 250

As you see, since the impact happened simultaneously, we always have to go back to Frame 51 to capture the impact on different people for the continuity. The Blast is single but the impacts are on many. Either you just show a single long Shot showing the impact on many at one go or you splice in the individual impact shots to enhance the cinematic quality for better story telling.

If we want to render ( I am a lazy renderer ) all the cameras in proper sequence with a single command, the the CAMERA SWITCHER has to work picking up the individual camera and use its start frame and end frame. The switcher has to move NON-LINEAR.

1) Camera 1 : 1 to 150
2) Camera 2 : 51 to 150
2) Camera 3 : 51 to 150
3) Camera 4 : 51 to 150
So on.....

6) Camera 6 : 151 to 250

So the RENDERING / PLAY command must be :

It must allow me to render with a single command. [ I badly need to catch up with my sleep during rendering. I don't want to stay awake just to give 6 times Rendering command ! ]

In good old DOS days (1980's) , we used Batch commands through a simple script.

-------
C1 1,150
C2 51,150
C3 51,150
C4 51,150
C5 51,150
C6 151,250
-------

This would give one single video file or a single IMAGE Sequence Series with a single command.

Alas, after 25-30 years, we have to beg a simple feature like this !!!

Note : There is no role of FPS in this case. They all have same FPS

So easy once someone tells you how:D
~~~~~~
Regarding Momo and Rea, I posted this issue on this forum because After purchasing Gwynn G5 Miniskirts Cloth I have not not been able to get rid of the watermark. Although they are not his product, Bigboss has been helping me but still not working after a lot of loading and reloading of original cloth over base content cloth and almost everything we can think of.
I purchased Momo and Rea from the Marketplace and purchased Gwynn G5 Miniskirts Cloth from RL Content Store. Could this be creating a watermark issue since I did not buy Gwynn G5 Miniskirts Cloth from the Marketplace as well?
Is the Content I purchased at the link below the same as the one sold in the Marketplace?
Kinect 2 , octobre normalement ?????
kinect V2 :
Le nouveau module Kinect V2 sera livré directement avec la console, et pour cause, il se veut désormais presque plus important que la manette pour piloter la console. Attention, le module sera obligatoire pour faire fonctionner la console.
La Xbox One misera énormément sur la reconnaissance des gestes, mais surtout sur les commandes vocales pour lancer les applications et permettre des interactions.
Équipé d’un nouveau capteur plus sensible, il dispose d’une caméra HD 1080p capturant 60 % de champ de vue en plus. Il est capable d’identifier les voix des utilisateurs, de reconnaitre des familles entières ( jusqu’à 6 personnes en même temps ) et est capable de suivre des mouvements plus précis, allant jusqu’au pivotement des épaules ou l’inclinaison des mains.
Le Kinect V2 sera également capable de comprendre les transferts de masse, les vitesses d’impact ou de mouvement ainsi que les contractions musculaires du joueur. Il devrait également être capable de détecter le rythme cardiaque de l’utilisateur grâce à une analyse des changements de couleur de la peau et de sa capture vidéo à 60 images par secondes.
